DESCRIPTION
Self-adhesive butyl tape with non-woven polyester fabric backing and split release film for easy application.
It is intended to be used for sealing and protecting the floor to wall corners, around penetrations (such as pipes, drains skylights, etc.), cover cuts, cracks, fish-moth overlaps, or substrate transitions (e.g. end of plastic collar at pipe), etc.

Application
Take off the protector, put the band on the support avoiding the formation of bubbles between the butyl and the support. Avoid the formation of air pockets between the butyl surface of the band and the support. For joints overlap the product minimum 2 inches (5 cm). The non-woven support can be painted but, given the extreme flexibility of butyl mastic, the painted layer, covering the non-woven may present light cracks. Please ensure that any material covering the backside of the band (adhesives, coatings, membranes), are compatible with the non-woven mat and with the butyl mastic.

Consumption
One roll of 32.8 ft. (10m) individually packed in a box.

Useful Advices
Do not use solvent-based product in the close proximity or in direct contact with BC SEAL BAND. Clean all support surfaces thoroughly in order to eliminate dirt, dust, and loose materials, any form of oil or grease and foreign or bonding-proof matters. Apply only on dry surfaces. Applying the new roll cover the previous one with 5cm.
PACKAGING
32.8 Ft. x 3.15 Inches (10 m x 80 mm) roll individually boxed.
STORAGE
When kept in its sealed, undamaged package in a shaded well-aired covered place at temperatures up to 86F (+30°C) product can be stored for 12 months. Storing at higher temperatures could cause difficulties in the application of the product.
