Wingrip Bituminoso

Wingrip Bituminoso is a new Winkler product formulated with bitumen, high-quality polymers in water emulsion, and special charges. It effectively waterproofs surfaces like balconies, showers, and bathrooms, making any substrate suitable for the rapid and clean tiling of floors and existing coverings.

Wingrip Bituminoso tips:

• Easy to apply in one coat

Apply in one hand without any primer by using brush, roller, large brush or airless spray gun. It makes a waterproofing layer and hard gripping surface both on concrete and floors or existing coverings.

• No primer is needed

You don’t need a primer, just use the product

• No reinforcement bar, both on blocks and by overlapping

Once applied, it makes an elastic layer between covering and support, which assures the perfect holding of the cementitious adhesive without using nets, reinforcing bars or particular adhesives: in order to paste new coverings, a suitable adhesive is enough.

• Quick hardening

In just 7 hours from the application of the support and in suitable weather conditions (ideal application is between +5 and +40°C and avoid in imminence of rainy weather), it’s already possible to apply floors and coverings.

Before applying Wingrip Bituminoso the surface must be dry and clean, non-stick substances or detached parts, and also free from hidden wet in order to avoid the creation of vapour pressures; for reinforcing and sealing of angles, we advise the application of BC SEAL BAND.

Consumption are:

• Horizontal (consumption of 0,5 kgs/m² for overlaying on existing floors and 1kg/m² on cement blocks).
• Vertical (in vertical its consumption is 0,4 kgs/m² for overlaying on existing floors and 0,8 kgs/m² on walls in general).

Available in 5,10 and 20 kgs pails.

In case you use tile adhesive from WINKLER range, these products are fully covered by the insurance policy issued by “REALE MUTUA ASSICURAZIONI”.
