Waterproofing with reflective liquid membranes

Cold roof, waterproofed with a white reflective liquid membrane, ideal for reducing temperatures and increasing energy efficiency

1 SUBSTRATE / LOAD-BEARING ELEMENT

2 ADHESION PROMOTER

For bonded screeds from 1 to 3 cm, apply WINGRIP® NEXT with roller, brush, or spray, consumption 0.5 kg/m². Apply the screed for slopes on the fresh product.

3 SLOPED SCREED

Minimum slope 1%. Made using WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO. For bonded screeds 1–3 cm thick, use WINGRIP® NEXT adhesion promoter, wet-on-wet.

4 WATERPROOFING

Apply two coats by roller, brush, or spray of Wingum Plus® H₂O Reflex, a colored, fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane. The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and weathering. In the “Reflex” versions, it features high reflectance (SRI 108). Apply the Wintechno Mat reinforcement fabric, embedding it into the first coat by applying light pressure and ensuring complete saturation of the fabric. Total consumption in two coats: 1.8 kg/m².

5 THERMAL INSULATION ELEMENT

Application of self-adhesive butyl strip BC SEAL BAND in corners. Together with BC SEAL PAD, it is used for sealing drains, outlets, and service penetrations.

6 VERTICAL UPSTAND

Apply Wingum Plus® H₂O Reflex on vertical upstands by roller, brush, or spray The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and weathering. When applied vertically in two coats without reinforcement mesh, the consumption is 1.6 kg/m².
