
Waterproofing with liquid membrane
Warm roof with thermal insulating panel, waterproofed with a liquid membrane to be applied under ballast
1 SUBSTRATE / LOAD-BEARING ELEMENT
Must have a minimum slope of 1%. Alternatively, a sloped screed can be created using WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO. For bonded screeds with a thickness from 1 to 3 cm, it is recommended to use WINGRIP® NEXT as a fresh-on-fresh bonding promoter.
2 PRIMER
Application by roller, brush, or spray of the bituminous primer ECOIMPRIMER, with a total consumption of 150–200 g/m².
3 VAPOR BARRIER
Hot application of the 4 mm COVERBLOCK bitumen–polymer membrane, which acts as a vapour barrier and is reinforced with a fiberglass mat coupled with a rot-proof aluminium sheet.
4 ADHESIVE FOR PANELS
Application by roller or brush of the water-based bituminous adhesive WINGLUE or WINGLUE FAST, with a consumption of 0.8 kg/m².
5 THERMAL INSULATION ELEMENT
6 WATERPROOFING
Application by roller, brush, or spray of the WINGUM PRO TECK system, a water-based bituminous liquid membrane that is elastomeric, waterproof, thixotropic, and resistant to ponding water and weathering. The system is applied in two coats, with horizontal reinforcement layers of WINTECHNO MAT inserted between them. The product is also available in a “Rapid” version, which allows fast-drying or fresh-on-fresh applications. Total consumption in two coats: 1.8 kg/m².
7 CORNER REINFORCEMENT
Application of self-adhesive butyl strip BC SEAL BAND in corners. Together with BC SEAL PAD, it is also used for the treatment of drains, roof outlets, and pipe penetrations.
8 VERTICAL UPSTAND WATERPROOFING
Application by roller, brush, or spray of the first coat of Wingum Plus® H₂O, a colored, fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane. The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and weathering. Nelle versioni “Reflex” è dotato di alta riflettanza (SRI 108). Il prodotto è disponibile anche in versione “Rapid”, che consente realizzazioni a rapida asciugatura o “fresco su Fresco”. Consumo nelle due mani di 1,6 kg/m².
