WATERPROOFING WITH COLD-APPLIED BITUMINOUS MEMBRANE AND REFLECTIVE PROTECTIVE COATING

Hot roof with thermal insulation panel, waterproofed with a double layer of smooth bituminous membrane, applied cold, using Winglue adhesive, and completed with a reflective liquid coating, resistant to water stagnation and suitable for application on new membranes

1 SUBSTRATE / LOAD-BEARING ELEMENT

2 BONDING PROMOTER

For bonded screeds with a thickness of 1 to 3 cm, apply WINGRIP® NEXT by roller, brush, or spray at a consumption of 0.5 kg/m². Apply the sloped screed on the fresh product.

3 SLOPED SCREED

Must have a minimum slope of 1%. Can be created using WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO. For bonded screeds with a thickness of 1 to 3 cm, it is recommended to use WINGRIP® NEXT as a fresh-on-fresh bonding promoter.

4 ADHESIVE FOR MEMBRANES

Apply WINGLUE or WINGLUE FAST, a water-based bituminous adhesive, by roller or brush at a consumption of 0.8 kg/m².

5 WATERPROOFING

COVERGUM SPECIAL elastoplastomeric (BPP) bituminous membrane with cold flexibility of –20 °C, applied cold with a suitable adhesive. The membrane is reinforced with non-woven continuous-filament polyester stabilized with glass, rot-proof.

6 OIL-FIXING PRIMER

Apply 2000 FAST PRIMER by roller, brush, or spray. At 20 °C, it can be overcoated after 3 hours. Consumption: 250 g/m².

7 REFLECTIVE PROTECTIVE COATING

Apply 2000 FAST REFLEX by roller, brush, or spray, a high-reflectance protective coating resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and weathering. With a Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) of 108, it helps reduce roof temperatures, ensuring material durability and structural comfort. Consumption: 1 kg/m² in two coats.

8 VERTICAL UPSTAND WATERPROOFING

Construct the vertical upstand by hot application of EXPERTA 400 elastoplastomeric (BPP) bituminous membrane, with cold flexibility of –20 °C. The membrane is reinforced with non-woven continuous-filament polyester stabilized with glass, rot-proof.
