Waterproofing of swimming pools with wfz5 winflex cement and tiled finish
Construction of tiled swimming pools by negative buoyancy resistant waterproofing and two-component cementitious waterproofing
1 CONCRETE POOL STRUCTURE – CONCRETE STRUCTURE OF THE SWIMMING POOL
2 NEGATIVE-SIDE WATERPROOFING – FIRST COAT
Application with trowel of three-component thixotropic epoxy-cementitious system WINPOX CEMENT TIXO. Formulated to cure on damp cementitious substrates, suitable for internal and external use, forming a waterproof layer resistant to positive and negative water pressure and abrasion. A small fillet is created at the base of the vertical wall along with the first coat. Consumption: 2.2 kg/m².
3 NEGATIVE-SIDE WATERPROOFING – SECOND COAT
WINPOX CEMENT TIXO, applied with a trowel. Consumption: 2.2 kg/m².
4 CORNER REINFORCEMENT
Application of self-adhesive butyl strip BC SEAL BAND in corners. Used together with BC SEAL PAD for sealing drains, skimmers, and lights.
5 UNDER-TILE WATERPROOFING AND ADHESIVE
Application of cementitious adhesive C2TES2 and under-tile waterproofing BOND CEMENT. Applied in a single layer, ensuring a continuous 2 mm waterproof layer under the tiles. Consumption varies depending on substrate roughness and application method: approximately 3.5 kg/m² for single spreading, 5 kg/m² for double spreading.
6 CERAMIC FLOORING – POOL-SUITABLE CERAMIC TILES
Joint grouting with WINSTUCCO FLEX.
