Warm roof with insulating panel, waterproofed with a reflective white or coloured liquid membrane, designed to reduce temperatures and improve energy efficiency. With fire-resistant Broof T2 certification, suitable for solar panel installations

1 SUBSTRATE / LOAD-BEARING ELEMENT

It must have a minimum slope of 1%. Alternatively, a sloping screed can be created using WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO. For bonded screeds with a thickness between 1 and 3 cm, it is recommended to use WINGRIP® NEXT as a fresh-on-fresh adhesion promoter.

2 PRIMER

Roller, brush, or spray application of the bituminous primer ECOIMPRIMER, with a total consumption of 150–200 g/m²

3 VAPOR BARRIER

Hot application of the COVERBLOCK 4 mm bitumen–polymer membrane, which serves as a vapor barrier and is reinforced with a glass-fiber mat coupled with rot-proof aluminum foil.

4 ADHESIVE FOR INSULATION BOARDS

Roller or brush application of the water-based bituminous adhesive WINGLUE or WINGLUE FAST, with a consumption of 0.8 kg/m².

5 THERMAL INSULATION ELEMENT

6 WATERPROOFING (FIRST COAT)

Roller, brush, or spray application of the first coat of Wingum Plus® H₂O Reflex Broof T2, a colored and fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and atmospheric agents The “Reflex” version features high reflectance (SRI 108), and in the Broof T2 version, it is certified for external fire resistance.

7 REINFORCEMENT

Apply the Wintechno Mat reinforcement fabric, embedding it into the first coat by applying light pressure and ensuring complete saturation of the fabric.

8 WATERPROOFING (SECOND COAT)

Application with roller, brush, or spray of the second and final coat of Wingum Plus® H₂O Reflex Broof T2 colored, fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and atmospheric agents “Reflex” versions have high reflectance (SRI 108) and Broof T2 versions are certified for external fire resistance. The total consumption of the product over both coats is 2.2 kg/m²;

9 REFLECTIVE PROTECTIVE COATING

Application in corners of the self-adhesive butyl tape BC SEAL BAND. Together with BC SEAL PAD, it is used for sealing drains, outlets, and service penetrations.

10 VERTICAL UPSTAND

Roller, brush, or spray application on vertical upstands of Wingum Plus® H₂O Reflex Broof T2, a colored and fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and atmospheric agents When applied vertically in two coats without reinforcement mesh, the consumption is 1.6 kg/m².
