Maintenance of water containment tanks, including drinking water
1 CONCRETE POOL STRUCTURE – CONCRETE STRUCTURE OF THE SWIMMING POOL.
2 EXPOSURE AND CLEANING OF REINFORCEMENT – CAREFUL REMOVAL OF ANY DETERIORATED REINFORCEMENT BARS.
3 REINFORCEMENT PASSIVATION
Application of single-component thixotropic mortar WAR M with brush. Consumption: 200 g/m (for Ø 8–10 mm bars).
4 COVER AND VOID RESTORATION
Performed with structural, thixotropic, fiber-reinforced mortar WR07 Fibrowin.
5 SURFACE LEVELING – FIRST COAT
Restoration and regularization of the concrete surface with cementitious skim coat WF 02 RASOWIN. For substrates with minor defects, embed a fiberglass mesh in the first layer. Applied with trowel. Consumption: 1.9 kg/m² per mm thickness.
6 SURFACE LEVELING – SECOND COAT
If a second layer is required to cover the mesh or to smooth highly irregular substrates, apply with trowel. Consumption: 1.9 kg/m² per mm thickness.
7 CORNER REINFORCEMENT
Application of self-adhesive butyl strip BC SEAL BAND in corners. Used together with BC SEAL PAD for sealing drains, skimmers, and lights.
8 TANK WATERPROOFING – FIRST COAT
Application of two-component elastic cementitious premix, waterproof and protective for concrete, screeds, and plaster, suitable for potable water containment. Applied with trowel or spray, embedding fiberglass mesh in the first coat. Consumption: 1.7 kg/m² per mm thickness, minimum thickness 2 mm.
9 TANK WATERPROOFING – SECOND COAT
Application of two-component elastic cementitious premix WINFLEX CEMENT SUPER, waterproof and protective for concrete, screeds, and plaster, suitable for potable water containment. Applied with trowel or spray. Consumption: 1.7 kg/m² per mm thickness, minimum thickness 2 mm.
