Waterproofing with Broof T2 and reflective liquid membranes

Warm roof with insulating panel, waterproofed using a Broof T2 fire-certified reflective white liquid membrane, designed to reduce temperatures, increase energy efficiency and optimize the performance of photovoltaic panels.

1 SUBSTRATE / LOAD-BEARING ELEMENT

It must have a minimum slope of 1%. Alternatively, a sloping screed can be created using WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO. For bonded screeds with a thickness between 1 and 3 cm, it is recommended to use WINGRIP NEXT as a fresh-on-fresh adhesion promoter.

2 PRIMER

Roller, brush, or spray application of the bituminous primer ECOIMPRIMER, with a total consumption of 150–200 g/m²

3 VAPOR BARRIER

Hot application of the COVERBLOCK 4 mm bitumen–polymer membrane, which serves as a vapor barrier and is reinforced with a glass-fiber mat coupled with rot-proof aluminum foil.

4 ADHESIVE FOR INSULATION BOARDS

Roller or brush application of the water-based bituminous adhesive WINGLUE or WINGLUE FAST, with a consumption of 0.8 kg/m².

5 THERMAL INSULATION ELEMENT

6 WATERPROOFING (FIRST COAT)

Roller, brush, or spray application of the first coat of Wingum Plus H2O Broof T2 Reflex, a colored and fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and atmospheric agents The “Reflex” version features high reflectance (SRI 108), and in the Broof T2 version, it is certified for external fire resistance.

7 REINFORCEMENT

Apply the Wintechno Mat reinforcement fabric, embedding it into the first coat by applying light pressure and ensuring complete saturation of the fabric.

8 WATERPROOFING (SECOND COAT)

application by roller, brush, or spray of the second and final coat of Wingum Plus H2O Broof T2 Reflex, a colored, fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane. The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and atmospheric agents The Reflex version features high reflectance (SRI 108), while the Broof T2 version is certified for external fire resistance. Total product consumption for the two coats is 2.2 kg/m².

9 CORNER REINFORCEMENT

Application in corners of the self-adhesive butyl tape BC SEAL BAND. Together with BC SEAL PAD, it is used for sealing drains, outlets, and service penetrations.

10 VERTICAL UPSTAND

Roller, brush, or spray application on vertical upstands of Wingum Plus H2O Broof T2 Reflex, a colored and fiber-reinforced elastomeric liquid membrane The product is resistant to ponding water, UV rays, and atmospheric agents When applied vertically in two coats without reinforcement mesh, the consumption is 1.6 kg/m².
