WINDECK

WINDECK, transparent low viscosity waterproof protector. Its exclusive formulation guarantees the waterproofing of the substrate, leaving the exposed face of the surfaces unaltered.

It is stable against freeze-thaw cycles and thermal shock, and offers excellent durability and high mechanical resistance.

WINDECK is specifically designed for the surface treatment of balcony and terrace tiles with water infiltration problems. It provides a medium level of walkability and resistance to the punctures typical of wear and tear caused by heels, chairs, tables, etc.

Applied over WINGUM PLUS® H₂O (with a coverage of 400 g/m²), WINDECK offers a system with greater mechanical resistance. In this case, WINGUM PLUS® H₂O must be applied on rigid substrates such as concrete or tiles, with WINTECHNO MAT placed between them.

APPLICATION

The product is ready to use and must not be diluted with water or solvent.

It can be applied by roller, paintbrush, and airless spray. Mix well before using to obtain a perfect homogenization.

On surfaces subject to chalking, we recommend a preventive application of the consolidating agent WINFIX CONCRETE.

USEFUL TIPS / SURFACE PREPARATION

Carefully clean the support to remove dust, crumbly parts, foreign or non-sticking substances.

Check that the surface to be treated is dry and the possible presence of hidden moisture, the latter could cause whitish spots as well as bubbles and detachments.

Apply at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.

STORAGE

The product, in its undamaged packaging and stored in a dry and protected place, has a shelf-life of 12 months.
