ONE® FLOORING
Waterproofs. Protects. Withstands Heavy Traffic.
ONE® FLOORING is a pigmented, single-component liquid waterproofing membrane specifically formulated for the waterproofing and protection of garage floors, flooring systems and surfaces exposed to heavy traffic and wear.
It provides high resistance to UV radiation and thermal shock, maintaining its performance even under extreme environmental conditions.
Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, ONE® FLOORING can be applied at temperatures from 0°C to +45°C, including on damp, very damp or wet substrates.
High-performance waterproofing for demanding floors
ONE® FLOORING is specifically designed for the waterproofing and protection of floors subject to heavy mechanical stresses and traffic, including:
- garages and residential parking areas
- car parks and parking facilities
- industrial floors
- cement screeds, including those that are not yet fully cured
- concrete substrates
- tiled surfaces
- substrates affected by persistent excess moisture
Once fully cured, the product provides high resistance to wear caused by rubber-tyred vehicle traffic, including intensive traffic conditions.
Its specially developed formulation ensures excellent adhesion to compact asphalt substrates, provided they have adequate mechanical strength (≥0.5 N/mm²).
Waterproofing even on damp substrates
ONE® FLOORING is suitable for applications where moisture can be a critical issue. It can be applied even to damp or wet substrates, making it an effective solution for the waterproofing and protection of floors and surfaces affected by persistent moisture.
After application, the membrane becomes rain-resistant within a few hours. Refer to the table in the Technical Data Sheet for the specific rain-resistance times according to application conditions.
APPLICATION
ONE® FLOORING can be applied by roller or trowel. Use a short-pile roller for roller application.
Apply the first coat using a short-pile roller, at a consumption rate of 350–400 g/m². Once the first coat is completely dry, apply the second coat at a consumption rate of approximately 1.1–1.2 kg/m².
Allow the second coat to dry completely, then finish the system with a final coat applied using a short-pile roller, at a consumption rate of approximately 300 g/m².
For the second coat, the use of a spike roller (bubble-popping roller) is always recommended to help release any entrapped air and ensure an even finish.
For surface repairs, use PRE-ONE®, UNIBAR FORMULA or UNIBAR MALTA.
If the substrate is contaminated with oil, use ONE® PRIMER. When applying the product over asphalt, use TECHNOASFALT instead (see the relevant Technical Data Sheet).
When applying ONE® FLOORING over substrates subject to movement, ONE® MAT must be incorporated into the system.
USEFUL TIPS / SURFACE PREPARATION
Make sure that substrates are clean, sound and free from friable or loose material, foreign substances and release agents.
Apply the product in two coats. For an optimal finish, apply the second coat using a short-pile roller, first in the longitudinal direction and then crosswise.
Surfaces with Joints
Existing joints must always be respected and waterproofed using WINJOINT FOAM and WINJOINT SEAL.
