PERFETTA Membrane: maximum adhesion, even on old mineral-surfaced bituminous membranes.

PERFETTA is a high-performance composite prefabricated membrane, engineered with innovative dual-compound technology, ideal for both refurbishment projects and new waterproofing applications. Thanks to its advanced formulation, it guarantees perfect adhesion even on challenging substrates, such as aged bituminous layers.

It is developed using the exclusive NT technology, a system that allows for differentiated waterproofing compounds between the upper and lower faces, ensuring high performance, total bonding, and exceptional ease of installation.

This technology delivers all the performance of Winkler’s time-tested membranes but with enhanced adhesion and incomparable advantages in terms of application speed and reliability under all conditions.

Thanks to its specific formulation, PERFETTA is a versatile membrane capable of bonding perfectly to all substrates, including old mineral-slated (slate-chipped) membranes. It is the ideal solution for renovation work, as it eliminates the need to strip existing layers while ensuring secure and long-lasting waterproofing.

Advanced Technical Composition

• Application Face: Made with a distilled bitumen compound modified with high-molecular-weight synthetic polymers (EPDM), specifically designed to enhance adhesion on any type of substrate.
• Exposed Face: Features an elastoplastomeric BPP polymer-bitumen blend, modified with APP (atactic polypropylene) polyolefin copolymers, ensuring superior resistance and durability.

Structure and Finishes

• Internal Reinforcement: Continuous-thread polyester stabilized with fiberglass threads, providing high mechanical strength, tear resistance, and puncture resistance.
• Bottom Finish: Thermofusible polyethylene (PE) film, compatible with torch-on application.
• Top Finish: “Double” PPL polypropylene fabric.
• MINERAL Version: Surface treated with natural slate chips for UV protection and an aesthetic finish.
• PERFETTA POL MINERAL 4.5 KG: Top finish treated with natural slate chips.
• PERFETTA POL 4 MM: Top finish in “Double” PPL polypropylene fabric.

Membrane protection

Protecting a bituminous membrane means increasing its long-term effectiveness. Winkler protective systems allow membranes to remain in optimal condition over time, protecting them from weathering and UV radiation.

Choosing a protective coating from the 2000 Plus Reflex range also helps reduce the surface temperature of the roof, improving the building’s energy efficiency and preserving roofing materials over time.

The Winkler protective system for new membranes includes the application of a fixing primer that blocks oil migration, 2000 FAST PRIMER, followed by 2000 FAST, a coloured elastomeric protective coating resistant to standing water, specifically formulated to protect smooth or slate-finished bituminous membranes, even when newly installed.

In the reflective version, 2000 FAST REFLEX, in addition to protecting the membranes, surface temperatures are significantly reduced thanks to its Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) of 108. This temperature reduction further enhances the longevity and stability of the materials used.
