2000 PLUS REFLEX

2000 PLUS REFLEX, a water-based elastomeric protective paint, reflective white in color and resistant to standing water.

Specifically formulated for applications requiring improved thermal bridges and significantly reduced solar radiation, resulting in energy savings, building air conditioning, and a significant increase in the energy efficiency of photovoltaic panels.

It is suitable for protecting bituminous membranes and building roofs, including flat surfaces such as cement, fiber cement, concrete, and metal roofs. To protect the reflective surface, we recommend applying WINCLEAN, a transparent, low-dirt-retention protective coating.

SOLAR REFLECTIVE PERFORMANCE
Winkler’s Reflex products have received significant recognition from the world’s most accredited certification institutes. Among the most prestigious is the US-based CRRC Rating (Cool Roof Rating Council), which certifies the solar reflectance index and solar emission values.

Furthermore, the SRI (Solar Reflex Index) is a value (the highest-performing ones have a score of over 100) attributed to certain building materials and takes into account both the material’s ability to reflect solar radiation and its ability to emit absorbed solar radiation as thermal radiation.

Winkler reflective products have achieved a rating of 107 with a specific certification from the Giordano Institute and the CRRC rating.

APPLICATION

It can be applied with roller, brush, or airless spray gun.

USEFUL TIPS / SURFACE PREPARATION

Make sure that the substrates are clean, dry and free from dust, oils, greases, rust, wax and non-stick substances.

When applying over modified bituminous membranes or other bituminous surfaces, the substrate must be oxidized for at least 180 days.Apply the product only on dry surfaces at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.

Allow the product to cure for 24. Do not apply the product if inclement weather, rain, heavy dew, or freezing are forecasted.

When applying over metal surfaces, first remove possible rust and apply one coat of WINGUM PLUS H₂O WHITE (300 g/m²) as anti-rust agent.

Plan for regular cleaning and maintenance. If used, reapply WINCLEAN every 2 years.

CONSUMPTIONS

• 0.6 kg/m² over smooth bituminous membrane and other substrates,
• 0.900 kg/m² over slated bituminous membrane, in two coats.

STORAGE

The product can be stored in its undamaged package for 12 months.

Not frost-proof.
