Philadelphia row house rebuilt with Wingum Plus H2O: modern design meets sustainable roofing

An old row house in Philadelphia was rebuilt from the ground up in Point Breeze neighborhood of Philadelphia. As most of old row houses, this two stories building had a timeworn build-up roof and its entire shape was deplorable. Creative Builders & Design decided to take it down to foundation and rebuilt it into a modern, energy efficient three stories home, with a 700 square feet roof deck, that can be used as a patio area.

Choosing the ideal roof system: quality, environment, and simplicity

When deciding what roof system to use, the builder took in consideration that the roofing material must meet the demands of modern home, with emphasis on high quality and environmentally friendly choices, while needing a simple application process.

His solution was Wingum Plus H2O, which is a cool roof water-based liquid applied waterproofing membrane.

Is used more and more often in new roofing and re-covering projects around the country.

Builders decided to use the grey color, in order to reduce the reflexivity and to allow the roof to be used by the new owners as a patio area.

Easy maintenance and the fact that at the end of the warranty the roof system can be re-coated with the same material for a new life cycle material warranty, makes Wingum Plus H2O the perfect choice for a new roof system.
