
INDUSTRIAL FLOOR JOINT RESTORATION
Structural repair and sealing of expansion joints in industrial flooring to ensure seamless heavy-vehicle transit
1 DAMAGED JOINT
2 CUTTING AROUND THE JOINT
Cut The Portions Of The Flooring Around The Joint To A Depth Of Approximately 5 Cm.
3 PRIMING OF SURFACES
Apply UNIBAR FORMULA, a two-component multifunctional resin, as a consolidating and waterproofing primer using a roller or brush, consumption 500 g/m², followed by scattering of 01–03 quartz onto the fresh primer.
4 JOINT RESTORATION
On the fresh primer, apply UNIBAR SCREED, a three-component solvent-free synthetic mortar with high mechanical strength and extended workability, composed of epoxy binders, hardeners, and special aggregates with reactive raw materials (SC3). Recommended thickness: 5 mm. Consumption: 5 kg per linear meter for a joint of 5 cm width × 5 cm height. Subsequently, level the mortar by filling pores with a mixture of UNIBAR FORMULA and 01–03 quartz (approximately 30–60% quartz).
