Warm roof with thermal insulating panel, waterproofed with a liquid membrane and tiled flooring finish, with under-tile waterproofing made using a two-component cement waterproofing
1 SUBSTRATE / LOAD-BEARING ELEMENT
Minimum slope 1%. Alternatively, sloping screed made with WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO. For bonded screeds 1–3 cm thick, use WINGRIP® NEXT adhesion promoter, applied wet-on-wet.
2 PRIMER
Application by roller, brush or spray of bituminous primer ECOIMPRIMER, total consumption 150–200 g/m².
3 VAPOR BARRIER
Hot-applied 4 mm bitumen-polymer membrane COVERBLOCK, reinforced with glass veil and aluminium foil.
4 ADHESIVE FOR INSULATION PANELS
Application by roller or brush of water-based bituminous adhesive WINGLUE or WINGLUE FAST, consumption 0.8 kg/m².
5 THERMAL INSULATION LAYER
6 WATERPROOFING
Application by roller, brush or spray of WINGUM PRO TECK, elastomeric liquid bituminous membrane in water dispersion, waterproofing, thixotropic, resistant to ponding water and weathering. Applied in two coats with horizontal reinforcement WINTECHNO MAT. Available in “Rapid” version for fast curing or wet-on-wet. Total consumption 1.8 kg/m².
7 SOLAR SEPARATION LAYER: LDPE SHEET.
8 LOAD-DISTRIBUTING SCREED
De-bonded screed made with fast-setting screeds WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO.
9 UNDER-TILE WATERPROOFING
Application of two-component premixed elastic, waterproofing cement WFZ5 WINFLEX CEMENT. Applied with trowel or spray, mixing the two components before application. Reinforced with suitable fiberglass mesh embedded in the first fresh layer. Apply 4 mm layer in two coats on cement screeds and substrates.
10 TILE ADHESIVE
Installation of tiles using flexible adhesive ROYAL FLEX, suitable for exterior use, class C2TES1.
11 CERAMIC FLOOR
SUITABLE FOR EXTERIOR USE. GROUTING WITH WINSTUCCO FLEX.
12 CORNER REINFORCEMENT
Apply self-adhesive butyl strip BC SEAL BAND at corners. Used together with BC SEAL PAD for waterproofing drains, outlets, and penetrations.
13 VERTICAL UPSTAND WATERPROOFING
Apply WINGUM PRO TECK liquid bituminous membrane in aqueous dispersion, elastomeric, waterproof, thixotropic, resistant to water stagnation and weathering. Available in “Rapid” version. Total consumption for two coats: 1.2 kg/m².
14 ADHESION PROMOTER
Application of WINGRIP® NEXT by roller, brush or spray; overcoatable after 2 hours; consumption 0.3 kg/m².
15 BASE PLASTER
Cement-based pre-mixed plaster WR05 WINTONAC on vertical surfaces; consumption 1.9 kg/m² per mm thickness.
16 FINISHING SKIM COAT
Cement-based skim WF02 RASOWIN; consumption 1.8 kg/m² per mm thickness.
17 CORNER REINFORCEMENT
Self-adhesive butyl tape BC SEAL BAND; together with BC SEAL PAD for drains, outlets and penetrations.
18 UNDER-TILE WATERPROOFING, VERTICAL UPSTAND.
19 TILE ADHESIVE, VERTICAL UPSTAND
Installation of skirting tiles using flexible adhesive ROYAL FLEX, suitable for exterior use, class C2TES1, followed by grouting with WINSTUCCO FLEX.
