WATERPROOFING WITH COLD-APPLIED BITUMINOUS MEMBRANE AND REFLECTIVE PROTECTION
Warm roof with thermal insulation panel, waterproofed with a double layer of smooth bituminous membrane, applied cold, using Winglue adhesive, completed with a protective, reflective liquid coating, resistant to water stagnation and suitable for the application of new membranes
1 SUPPORT / LOAD-BEARING ELEMENT
It must have a minimum slope of 1%. Alternatively, a sloping screed can be created using WINPLAN 370 or WINPLAN PRO. For bonded screeds with a thickness between 1 and 3 cm, it is recommended to use WINGRIP® NEXT as a fresh-on-fresh adhesion promoter.
2 PRIMER
Roller, brush or spray application of the bituminous primer ECOIMPRIMER, with a total consumption 150–200 g/m².
3 VAPOR BARRIER
Hot application of the COVERBLOCK 4 mm bitumen-polymer membrane, which serves as a vapor barrier and is reinforced with a glass-fiber mat coupled with rot-proof aluminium foil.
4 ADHESIVE FOR INSULATION BOARDS
Roller or brush application of the water-based bituminous adhesive WINGLUE or WINGLUE FAST, wtih a Consumption of 0.8 kg/m².
5 THERMAL INSULATION ELEMENT
suitable for torch application of bituminous membranes.
6 ADHESIVE FOR MEMBRANES
Roller or brush application of the water-based bituminous adhesive WINGLUE or WINGLUE FAST, with a consumption of 0.8 kg/m².
7 WATERPROOFING
COVERGUM SPECIAL elastoplastomeric (BPP) bituminous membrane, featuring cold flexibility of –20 °C, applied cold using a suitable adhesive, and reinforced with a rot-proof continuous-filament polyester non-woven fabric stabilized with glass.
8 FIXATIVE OIL PRIMER
Roller, brush, or spray application of 2000 FAST PRIMER fixative oil primer. At 20 °C, it can be overcoated in just 3 hours. Consumption: 250 g/m².
9 REFLECTIVE PROTECTIVE COATING
Roller, brush, or spray application of 2000 FAST REFLEX, a high-reflectance protective coating resistant to standing water, UV rays, and atmospheric agents. With a reflectance index of SRI 108, it reduces roof temperatures, ensuring material durability and structural comfort. Consumption: 1 kg/m² in two coats.
